Project: Week 1 Design 1
I came across powell peralta website and browse thru their old zines ad and walla! the idea came and i started designing back their old ads, firstly all materials are taken from powell peralta ad archive.
Here is the 1st week design that i've re-align and re-design, it was called Don't be fooled referring to Bones product, Produced in 1979 for skateboarder magazine and the original designer is C.R Stecyk and the model for the ads is Stacy Peralta.
I did not make a lot of changes from the original ad, just the wheels colour and i use old dirty wall background as i wanted the image to be looked as a poster been paste and i only use the main copy for this ad. The remaining copy was taken out.
The blue border? i don't know y i put it, maybe to balance it...argh...
