80's Sleeve Art Trendsetter and so on...
Talking about graphic art 20 years back then, i remember one of my favourite sleeve artist, Vaughan Oliver, a graphic designer nor artist that does'nt know about him, he's not into the graphic history and has to learn more. Vaughan Oliver artworks focus on freaky and serious art, those freaky has it own unique identity and it is beautiful.
An apprentice to his own unique design and has a lot of followers nowadays, i think. Known widely in UK, he has made a his design on top of the nodge for around 20 years. His design has influence lots of young sleeve artist.
Born in Sedgefield, County Durham, England on 12 September 1957. Newcastle-upon Tyne Politechnic graduate's and start working in a Benchmark packing design studio and Micheal Peters & Partners in London. He has been doing all his design works for a independant recording label that just been formed. he's early work is with Modern English, old skool band under the 4AD label.
